Suburban Nedlands City Hockey Club (inc).

Subs has a long history, being the longest continually operating hockey club in WA, after forming in 1922.

2008 was a very successful year in the club with 9 of the 13 teams playing off in the semifinals and 4 in the grand finals.

However the BIG achievement was the success of our top men’s team in being promoted to the AHG competition. The team had been knocking on the door of promotion in previous years and is now well-prepared to take its place in what is regarded as one of the strongest competitions in Australia.

There is plenty to offer new players who want to play top grade hockey in any of our Mens or Ladies turf teams. To underline the professional approach to the season, training will start mid-January under the direction of Chris who has conducted fitness programs for WAFL Clubs and the Western Force.

New players are welcome and invited to attend the training and have a look at the club

Our ladies team is on a mission to also gain promotion to the top grade in 2010 and is keen for any players to come along to training. There are also turf teams that welcome any new players, experienced or new to the game.
